The Bailey HUNDO:
The Senators’ Underground Invitational - June 19th, 2010 (6:00 a.m start)
The Bailey HUNDO: The Senators’ Underground Invitational will be the premiere 100-mile endurance mountain bike race of Colorado, based out of Front Range mountain biking destination Bailey, Colorado. Sponsored by four cycling Colorado State Senators, including Chris Romer, the proceeds of the race will not only enhance the singletrack trail system around Bailey, but also promote mountain biking experineces to at-risk youth, and high schoolers around the state by supporting Trips For Kids Denver/Boulder and the newly-founded Colorado High School Cycling League (CHSCL).
For 2010, The Bailey HUNDO will be a suggested-donation and pledge-based event, and is run entirely by volunteers. All proceeds go to Trips for Kids and the Colorado High School Cycling league and enhancing recreation opportunities in Bailey.
We have been allocated a handful of race entry invitations to form of a team of supporters to race hard and raise money for the cause. If you're up for the challenge of the Bailey 100 and can pledge to raise $100 or more, joining Andy Brannon on Team TFKD/B, please contact Andrew Goodwillie. 303-725-6723 or agood@tripsforkidsdenver.org

The Platte Canyon Chamber of Commerce will be pulling out the stops to make this an unforgettable event, providing entertainment in Bailey both the night before the HUNDO, as well as during the dinner and celebration after the race! The entertainment will be open to the public, not just the lucky 150 HUNDO racers. This will be the perfect opportunity to rediscover Bailey, which has historically been a favorite close-to-home destination for folks looking to get out of the city!
We need TFK volunteers to help staff a race aid station and do other race-day tasks. Please contact Andrew Goodwilie to sign up and to find out additional details: 303-725-6723 or agood@tripsforkidsdenver.org
