Moustache Madness

Thanks to the great employees at Geomega, Spyder, GoLite, Boa Technology and Pearl Izumi for assembling teams to "grow" and raise critical funds to keep the kids rolling again this year! Watch all the hair growing action this month by clicking here.

March 1 kicks off the official start of Moustache Madness IV. Join the "Madness" and compete to grow the fullest, well groomed, and most shapely facial hair. Best of all, it’s for charity! The entrance fee is $20/person. All proceeds will go to Trips for Kids Denver. Updates and pictures will be available online.

When:

Start clean shaven March 1 and grow your ‘stache throughout the month. There will be a participants photo on March 1 documenting the beginning of the competition, and generally photos every week to show the progress.

The Best 'Stache winer selects the first prize, Creative selects next, Creepiest gets what's left and the Lamest 'stache champ gets a good old TFKD t-shirt! Thanks to everyone at Spyder, BOA Technology, GoLite, and Pearl Izumi for organizing this contest again this year.

All TFKD supporters and volunteers are welcome to "grow". This is an all-online deal (you just email a before and after photo which will be posted to the site), so it's easy to join the Madness and have fun growing a fine 'stache during the month of March.

Judging:

All participants are allowed one vote for each award, they can vote for any Moustache other than their own. Non-participants are encouraged to judge, a donation of $5 allows you to vote for all three categories. Judging will take place on March 31, results will be announced on April 1. Make sure you read all of the rules below.

Rules & Regulations:

You must be clean shaven on March 1, 2010
You can have additional facial hair during the growing period, but you must wear only your Moustache for the final day of the competition.
The use of performance enhancing growth hormones or coloring agents is not condoned or sanctioned by Moustache Madness.
Rules are for suckers. Those who chose to ignore these rules are still eligible for all prizes, but may be taunted by those who did follow the rules. This means that if you have a beard or moustache now, it’s okay to keep it and still compete.
