The Youth@Work Program began in the summer of 2015 and provides high school youth with supervised, hands-on work experience at our full service bike shop, Lucky Bikes Re-Cyclery. In the pilot year, four disadvantaged youth who had previously participated in our programs were hired as part-time employees during the summer months and six youth with special needs earned classroom credit for their work with us during the 2015-16 school year. Internships more than doubled in the summer of 2016, with nine interns hired. We also expanded our school partnerships to include Lincoln High School, Joshua School and Jefferson County Open School.  For more information please contact us here:
